Here’s one interesting e-mail sent by a friend. It really is mind-boggling to think about it, I might need a KVM switch for my brain.
Have a history teacher explain this—– if they can.
Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House. Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head. Now it gets really weird.
Lincoln ’s secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy’s Secretary was named Lincoln .Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839. Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.
Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters. Now hang on to your seat.
Lincoln was shot at the theater named ‘Ford’.
Kennedy was shot in a car called ‘ Lincoln ‘ made by ’Ford’.Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater.Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.
Incredible!
Reports say that teens or the youth are preferring Facebook over Twitter over blogging. Moreover, the report goes on to say:
…blogging among teens and young adults has plummeted to half what it was in 2006. In that year, 28% of teens ages 12-17 and adults ages 18-29 were bloggers. By the fall of 2009, the numbers had dropped to 14% of teens and 15% of young adults. During the same period, the percentage of online adults over 30 who were bloggers rose from 7% in 2006 to 11% in 2009.
…Aase also says some teenagers may grow back into blogging as they hit adulthood: “Blogging has become a way to communicate with the world, about more meaningful issues, not just about communicating to friends.”
In short, the older you are [especially if you need wrinkle creams and HGH supplements], the more you tend to blog! He! He!
Perhaps it’s time for me to open a Facebook account!
“I always give 100% at work:
13% on Mondays
22% on Tuesdays
26% on Wednesdays
35% on Thursdays
4% on Fridays”
And today is Friday, so I guess you know how it is going to be at work for me today! He! He! I just hope that my boss does not read my blog!!!
I’m excited for the weekend that I don’t need a super pump 250 to hype me up! I know that work today will just pass by in a jiff! Oh how I love Fridays! They are like the gateweay to relaxation!
Happy weekend everyone! Enjoy!
Have you noticed how hot it is lately? Grabe!
For the last few days, going home at 2 pm has been a torture. Our parking lot is not covered, so imagine going in the car at that time! It’s like being in an oven! I even bought those sun shades for the car, but the heat is still unbearable! Good thing though that when we work, we are comfortably seated in airconditioned offices! I can just imagine those who work on the streets, such as police men, traffic enforcers, delivery persons, etc [they would be needing accutane for their skin!]! How hard it is to work in sweltering heat!
And gosh, and it’s just the start of February! Isn’t February supposed to be one of the coldest months?
I just hope that it won’t get any hotter. [Wishful thinking ba?]
