No, I didn’t finish nursing and recently passed the board. It’s just the “RN” that comes with “mother.”
My little girl is sick today, and I am the round-the-clock nurse. My duties include the following:
I am getting my break right now because the patient is asleep. And I’m sneaking this post while I’m at it.
Today [and the whole weekend probably], I am a nurse and a mother. And that’s why, my friend, being a mother is much, much harder than securing New York Yankees tickets.
I hope Wendy feels better soon.
