“A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.” — Lao Tzu
My vacation in Europe started as an opportunity, and I grabbed it and I never looked back. How many times have we said, “I want to go to [a place you’ve been dreaming of going]” but never really went to that place? There must be so many reasons not to go: no time, no money, kids who cannot be left alone, etc, etc. I know so because at one point or another, I have given these excuses again and again.
For travel-loving persons like me who want to go out and explore but have the above reasons not to do so, I tell you one thing: Whether it’s planning that holiday in Greece, going for Outer Banks rentals in California, taking part in a Carribean cruise, reserving that truck for a road trip to Laguna, experiencing St. Patrick’s day in Ireland, or simply deciding to go out of the country (or even within your country), TAKE THAT FIRST STEP! Sometimes, taking the first step is the hardest. But let me tell you that it will be worth it!
Ciao!
