Last Thursday, we found out that Princess Wendy is graduating as the valedictorian of her batch. Yep! It turns out that the kikay, pink-loving kid (originally red-loving) who always has the energy to play but has none when it comes to other things has a great mind too! Imagine our happiness and excitement when we found out! We wondered were she got her brains…I wasn’t even in the top of our class when I was in school, and neither was her Papa. I mean, yes, I got decent grades, but I’ve always considered myself to be just a "regular" student. Maybe that’s why it was great news for us…diba sabi nila, the frustrations of parents are often lived out by the children?
Anyway, now, a week later, the excitement has dwindled, especially that we have to memorize her speech by March 19 (Wednesday next week)…and let me tell you that when God gave out free patience, Wendy wasn’t there, and thus, memorizing is not one of her talents! I’m hoping that the occasional bribe would make her work harder to memorize her lines.
I’m crossing my fingers for next week!
Naks! Mana siguro si Wendy sa mga lolo’t lola niya
British accent din ba sila? haha… congrats!
galing-galing!!! congrats! (hindi pala purple ang paborito niya?)
